Google Rolls Out Social Links in Google Business Profiles

A new feature is rolling out for Google Business Profiles that allows businesses to link directly to their social accounts. This news was provided by a new Google Support page here. The new addition will provide users with more ways to learn about and communicate with businesses directly from Google.

How To Set it Up

When this feature completes its rollout, adding social profile links will be easy. When logged into your company’s Google Business Profile, you can click “Edit Profile.” Under “Business Information” and “Contact,” there will be a “Social Profiles” section. As of right now, each Google Business Profile has the ability to add one link per social network.

If this section does not show up for you, it is because the feature is only available in specific regions right now.

Google also claims that eligible profiles may get their social links added automatically by Google. This is another attempt by the search engine to answer user questions directly on its search engine results pages.
